Everyday Makeup Routine (Monolid)

Hello people of the internet! The much requested everyday makeup routine is here! As my exams are all over, I finally have the time to take you through my favorite makeup routine. There are some bips and bops missing from my everyday makeup bag but these are usually what I wear for classes and outings with my baes cause it’s no fuss. Let’s dive into it, shall we?

M.A.C. Pro Conceal and Correct Palette (Medium)

This brilliant concealer is creamy and pigmented. I use the shades on the upper left and bottom left for concealing my dark circles. The tragedy of late nights 😦

I rarely prime my face but the base of my makeup is made up of moisturizer and sunscreen that is at least SPF50. I always use my ring finger to tap the product and blend into the skin.

Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer (7)

Waterproof and pigmented, I only use this to cover forehead blemishes. However, I’m absolutely fine in showing flaws on my skin because I’m still human. I believe you can still see my pimply friends on my forehead even after blending, thanks to Aunt Flo.

My dark circles are brightened and I look fresher than the fruits in the supermarket.

bareMinerals Original Foundation (Light)

Extremely lightweight in feel, it doesn’t catch on dry patches and gives a decent amount of coverage that is extremely natural. I’m using the Real Techniques Buffing Brush all over my face.

e.l.f. High Definition Powder (Sheer)

A decent powder that does not give me flashbacks, it beautifully sets my under eye and does its very best to stop it from creasing. I powder everything except my cheeks.

Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner (02 Brown)

As long as you close it tight every time you dip your brush in it, it stays creamy as heck. It also doesn’t budge and smudge on me. I draw a thick line, filling the folds of my eye and then giving it a flick by following my lash line. Let me know if you’ll like a tutorial on the eyeliner itself cause the eyeliner learning process was tough as nails for me.

Cyber Colors Auto Eyebrow Pencil (Black)

Real cheap and extremely pigmented, I always screw up drawing my eyebrows so it’s a great learning tool.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

Etude House Oh! M’ Eye Lash Edition

Honestly, it doesn’t even hold my curl and my eyelashes would be as straight as an arrow. Just gonna finish these up until I get my hands on something else. Any suggestions?

Benefit Watt’s Up! Highlighter

I only use it on my non-existent cheekbones. Unfortunately, the camera was unable to capture the glowy-ness of my cheeks.

Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick (Seductive Sienna)

I FREAKIN’ LOVE THIS SO MUCH. The formula is amazing, creamy when applied and it stays put for a decent amount of time and all the eating I put it through. It doesn’t dry out my lips so eating anything oily will disintegrate it.

For all the monolidders out there, you know the struggle of finishing eyeliners in a blink because LOOK HOW MUCH I NEED TO USE JUST TO SEE THE EYELINER. Also, I find that this opens up my eyes and makes it look bigger than it is. You like? Let me know down below 🙂
